Raju asked out Rakhi with flowers on the first date in front of every one. Raju told Rakhi ‘the way I felt after seeing you it never felt before’. Other than this Raju does a lot of other crazy things and Rakhi did not have much time to think.Don’t you think the story sounds so romantic? Actually it is not like that. The rest of the story does not remain so romantic. Nishu gets abused verbally if she does not give any miss call. Rekha slowly gets unsecured of losing Raju which makes him suffocated. And within couple of months Raju starts doubting Rekha, even she cannot hangout with her female friends properly. Psychologists have termed this as love obsession. Love obsessed person is called obsessive lover and the partner is said to be the victim.
Is it not love a kind of obsession?
No. Most psychologists don’t term this obsession as love. They say love means care, support and sacrifice. Otherwise obsession is insanity which seems to be love. Or this can be termed as the disease of love. Nobody stays happy with this obsession. They may be happy with the current terms but eventually they get frustrated of the relationship and often decide to part ways.

The obsessive lover may be very attracted to the person at first sight. Then insecurity and doubt grows in that person. Then slowly the obsessed person looses control over him/ her. That may result suicide or may be the murder of the partner. This whole world and habitat is based on love. Just if you keep few things on mind your love can be immortal. Be caring to the person you love, try to give respect. Be open and honest to your loved one. Remember this the more you try hard to catch a dust particle the more it will get out of your hands.
