Domestic Banana Face Packs

Banana is a delicious fruit which is available year round. It supplements with Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Potassium and Manganese. Besides all these health benefits, it is very good for your skin. Ripen Banana flesh makes great facial masks. It is wonderful as an anti-wrinkle treatment and can help to improve the complexion. Here are some masks you can prepare at home for better skin.

 

 

Banana Honey Mask
Mash up a ripe banana, add 1 tbsp Honey and make a gooey pulp. Apply over face and rinse after 15 minutes with warm water.

 

Banana Oatmeal Mask
Grind 1/2 cup Oatmeal to coarse powder. Add mashed ripe banana, 1 tbsp Lemon juice and mix it up. Apply it on your face. Wash after 20 minutes. Oatmeal works like a scrub, helps to remove dead skin.

 

Plain Banana Mask
If there is only banana available, mash it with fork and apply to your face and neck. Banana smooths the skin.

Banana Honey Yogurt Mask

Mash a banana thoroughly and mix it with 1 teaspoon honey and 2 teaspoons yogurt and apply it on the face evenly. Leave it on the face till the skin absorbs it thoroughly and dries completely on the face. Then rinse it off with cold water.

 

Banana Egg Mask
Mask made of mashed Banana and whisked egg white is good for oily skin. It tightens and smooths the skin. For dry skin use egg yolk instead of egg white.

 

Banana Olive Oil Mask
If you have dry skin, add 1 tbsp Olive oil to mashed banana and apply this mask to your face and neck and rinse it off.
