The largest festival of Bangladesh, Eid-ul-Fitre is knocking at the door. Huge & various attractions are being arranged in the whole country because of upcoming Eid. A proverb goes that Eid means new dress for all, either poor or rich. Therefore Pankti has brought 50 new designs of t-shirts and 20 new designs of panjabi in this Eid like every year. There are three categories of t-shirts – 1. Normal T-shirt, 2. P. K. T-shirt, 3. V. P. K. T-shirt.
The media and photography club (ENVISIO) of the Institute of Business Administration of Jahangirnagar University has arranged an Intra Jahangirnagar Photography exhibition, ‘Reunion of Life’. All present & ex-students and teachers were knolled to submit photos from 30 departments and 3 institutes. Among those 50 photos of 28 photographers were selected for the exhibition.
ENVISIO, Media and Photography Club of Institute of Business Administration, JU, has organized intra Jahangirnagar University photography exhibition- `Reunion of Life’. All the alumnus and current students and faculty members of 30 departments and 3 institutes of Jahangirnagar University will be participating in it. Each participant may submit a maximum of 5 entries. Files must be in JPEG format and at least 2500 pixels on the longer side without any watermark. With selected photographs an exhibition will take place at DRIK GALLERY in the last week of July, 2011.
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary and to welcome rainy season, fashion brand Nitya Upahar has organized an outfit and painting exhibition. On 23rd June renowned singer Khursid Alam has inaugurated the exhibition in Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in its’ own showroom. In this inaugurating occasion children have performed a fashion show.
Department of Anthropology, Jahangirnagar University is going to organize annual conference on May 21 & 22, 2011.
